Do you struggle to attract attention to your products and services?

Would you like more people to pay attention to what you have to offer?

Hi, I'm Shaun, the content creator for the Think Adventure YouTube channel. I tell stories about things worth doing and places worth seeing. I do this by making use of video.

When I just started out in the digital marketing space I use to blog, write little short messages for social media, dropped pictures, included motivational quotes, build websites, landing pages, etc. All of it with the hope that something viable might come of it.

None of it worked until I realized you need to spend money to attract attention. The more money you spend the more attention you will have. Let me give you a pro tip:

No Money = No Traffic, No Traffic = No Leads, No Leads = No Sales, No Sales = No Viable Business.

If you are disappointed by this. I understand how you feel. You just realized in order to grow your business, you will need more attention and in order to attract more attention it’s going to cost you money.

You can try and do it the organic way. I still make use of organic strategies. The thing is. Not much comes from it. Should it work, I’m convinced that it’s going to take a long time before it becomes something that adds value to your business.

From what I can see in the digital marketing space. It looks like organic traffic is dying a slow death. If you think I am missing something, prove me wrong. Here is a good quote to keep in mind:

What happens when you don't advertise?

Very little.

Now with that said, I think you will agree that it takes a lot of resources to create content. The problem with your website, landing page, social pages, etc. is that it means nothing if no one knows about it. This is the biggest problem most small businesses have. They have online real estate but, there is not much going on.

This is because very few people know about your website, landing page, social pages, etc. In all honesty, I have learned that organic growth in general delivers very poor results for most.

Keep in mind that companies like Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Titktok, etc. are all businesses for profit. They need to make money in order to make it all work.

Who do you think they favor most? Someone posting on their platform hoping for some free attention or someone paying for that attention?

I get it. It’s frustrating spending time and money building out your online real estate and nothing happens. Very little to no traffic which in reality gives you no viable business. The math does not make sense.

It was only when I started creating videos and paying for targeted attention that something started happening. The views, likes, engagement, and subscribers began increasing.

In the marketing world, they have this saying. Money follows attention. The more attention you have on your online real estate the more leads you will have which will ultimately result in more sales.

If you want more attention on what you have to offer? You are going to have to make use of paid marketing and I recommend you include video into that. Why video? Most people would much rather watch a video looking for the answer to their question than go and read up about it.
